Karen, Former Ranger
I still have my hat!

I AM SO EXCITED to reveal the  cover for my upcoming “vintage national parks” novel set at Mount Rainier! The Road to Paradise is a book that I’ve longed to write since I worked as a ranger at Rainier many years ago. The novel releases June 6, but it’s already available for pre-order (pre-order links available here).

Waterbrook Multnomah designed the perfect cover for the 1920s-era book, catching the spirit of both the time period and the national parks. I think you’re going to love it!

Are you ready?

Here we go . . .

Road to Paradise

Isn’t that fun? I love everything about it, from the vintage postcard vibe all the way to the image of the iconic Paradise Inn. Have you ever had the chance to visit this beautiful national park? If you haven’t driven the road to Paradise, you need to make some travel plans!

Prayer Request

In fact, along those lines, here’s a prayer request for you. I’m planning some speaking engagements and book signings in the Tacoma/Seattle area in celebration of the novel’s release in June. My dream would be to do one in the park itself. I’ve got some contact numbers, but I’d love it if your prayers could pave the way. Would you help me?

In celebration of this special cover release, I want to let you know about two big things going on right now.
